This is part three. The sun has risen, and suddenly, a jolt runs through the body, and we remember something else:

Who We Are

Thanks for the reminder.

We had lingered in darkness long enough. Perhaps a series of experiences led us out of the fog and back toward ourselves, with a few quasi-psychedelic truth bombs to light the way.

Something happens to wake us up. It’s like cutting down a tree. One must swing the axe time and time again.. but it is often the final blow that we remember. HOWEVER…

That swing often comes in the form of EXPOSURE. An exposure that shatters all of our delusions… and we are finally free.

It is when the rose colored glasses come off and we see things as they are. We finally stop playing defense attorney for whatever person, behavior or circumstance we habitually justified — at no cost.. except to that of our dignity.

When people show you who they are, BELIEVE THEM.

Why do you think you get angry when someone abuses you?

It’s because deep down, you know you’re worth more than that, and something inside of you is revolting. Something inside you wants YOU to do better. To experience better. To live better. And it is trying to protect you.

This is the truth we need to realize our worth. We stop punishing ourselves with making ourselves small. We stop punishing ourselves with all this hiding in the dark, thinking we need somebody to validate our existence type of bullshit.

We remember who the fuck we are.

We remember who we were before we met the person, place or thing who turned our lives upside-down.

We are filled with the instant, elastic rebound tenacity that a human slingshot would have, and we act.

I don’t know what acting on that looked like for you. For me, it looked like creating this:

“Oh, I used to think I was everyones favorite piece of trash

Oh, I used to have no boundaries, 

and think if he put hands on me,. 

he must love me —-

but then I started fighting back...”

That was a real reference to a time when I suffered from the delusion that “putting hands on me” AKA physical violence, equated to the person caring about me.

No shit. I equated possession and control with “love”. I was very confused.

and i’ve come from wanting to die, and hating myself, 

to recognizing that I, am part of the Divine, 

here to experience itself, and I….

That video has helped me tremendously, and I’ve had to experience and “learn this lesson” SOOOO MANY FKNG TIMES dude. So don’t feel bad if you’re a repeat offender in the realm of “oh shit, I just got wrecked because I wasn’t paying attention and handed over my worth to a parasite” or however you want to explain it.

Truly, we could “hand over our worth” to literally anyone, could be the greatest person on earth, and we’d still get wrecked. We gotta stop doing that shit.

Now, we get to re-discover.

What’s so awesome about discovery, and re-discovery? Every time we return to the truth… it is even sweeter than the last time we found it.

That is within you. It is within all of us. It is alive in our cosmic ocean.

May we realize it now.
